[origin: EP1278108A1] The intermediate assembly (1) which is a pressed fit within the watchcase consists of an elastic blocking ring (4) which contains a metallic threaded ring (2). The watchcase base (6) is screwed into the metallic ring using a threaded rim (8,10). If the alignment of any base markings is not satisfactory it may be rotated with complementary motion of first the metallic ring and then the blocking ring after engagement of lug (20).
