The system includes a first module with an interface arranged in an opening, and a second module with a second interface arranged in an opening in the second module. A connector for connecting the first and second modules has two connector parts. The first connector part has a connector region that extends below the floor of the first module when the first connector part is plugged in. Independent claims are also included for a further modular analysis system, and for a connector for connecting modules of an analysis system.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Analysesystem, bei dem mindestens zwei Module (2-6) durch einen Verbindungsstecker (7) miteinander in Kontakt stehen, sowie ein Verbindungsstecker, der zur Verbindung von Modulen geeignet ist. Bei einer Verbindung zweier Module mittels des Verbindungssteckers verläuft ein Teil des Steckers teilweise unterhalb der Böden der Module, so daß eine Befestigung der Steckverbindung aufgrund des Eigengewichtes der Module erfolgt. <IMAGE>
