Abstract (en)

The present invention provides a wireless LAN system and the like which uses a single wireless telephone line, and when a telephone apparatus outside the network originates a call to the LAN, allows establishment of wireless telephone communication between that telephone apparatus and a slave communication device by themselves through a host station without relaying through a master communication device while that originated call once terminates at the master communication device, and does not require particular processing such as authentication on the host station side. Each transmission/reception means 5 is controlled to switch between a first state in normal times in which a transmission/reception means 5 of a master communication device 1 is turned on and transmission/reception means 5 of respective slave communication devices 2 are turned off and a second state at the time of control delegation in which the transmission/reception means 5 of the master communication device 1 is turned off and only the transmission/reception means 5 of any one of the slave communication devices which is a subject of control delegation is turned on, and when a reason of terminating control delegation to any slave communication device occurs in the first state, a terminating control delegation signal for permitting the transmission/reception means of that slave communication device to be turned on is transmitted from the master communication device 1 to that slave communication device 2 through the respective short-range wireless communication means to perform switching to the second state. <IMAGE>
