The drying station (10) with infra red radiators (48), for heat-set printed sheets, has a drying bar (14') at the entry side which generates a directed air flow (70) with a direction component at right angles to the movement plane of the printed matter, to press it against the nominal carrier support surface. This prevents a beating action on the floating printed matter through grips, when it moves freely from a deflection cylinder at the outlet from the printing press.

Ein Trockner (10) für Druckerzeugnisse hat eine eingangsseitige Trocknerleiste (14'''), die einen Richtluftstrom (70) erzeugt, welcher eine zur Förderebene von zu trocknenden Druckprodukte senkrechte Komponente aufweist. Hierdurch wird ein Schlagen von durch Greifer freischwebend geführten Druckprodukten verhindert, wenn diese von einem Umlenkzylinder freikommen, der am Auslaß der Druckmaschine angeordnet ist. <IMAGE>
