[origin: EP1279500A2] To give a dosed feed of a fluid especially to a rotary printing press or varnishing machine, a liquid lubricant is fed at intervals on to the mantle surface of the application roller (15), before the chamber scraper system (16) in the direction of roller rotation, and at its sealing system (25). Each chamber scraper has an adjacent lubricator (17), with a feed pipe (18) and a switch valve (19) coupled to a control unit (20) or pulse generator.
