Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1279597A1] The banding device fits bands round packs (3). It has a worktable (1) on which the pack stands for binding. and a band positioning frame (5) fixed off-center relative to the resting surface (2) of the table, to position a band loop (9) consisting of a sector of the binding band. The frame has at least one band guide element which guides the band loop to the middle of the table to bind the pack in the feed direction (4).
