Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1279756A2] The spinner, to spin a yarn (13) from fibers (7), has a spinning chamber (2) which is subjected to a rotating air eddy (15). The fibers pass into the entry opening of a spindle channel (11), with a spindle (12), to be twisted into the yarn. The fibers are fed into the spinning chamber through at least one feed channel, and loose fibers (17) which have not been caught for spinning are carried off in the air exhaust (16), to be returned to the spinning process as regenerated fibers, which have been cleaned of any dirt or soiling.
