The container, especially to provide a working space, has a variable internal volume. The basic container (1) has a floor and a roof, with at least one extension (10) which can be pulled out to give an open side into the basic container, a closed end side, and a floor. A unit levels the floors of the extension(s) and the basic container. The basic container has at least one swing side wall (4,5). The open top of the extension(s) is covered by the swing side walls to form a roof. Filling sections (18,28) cover any gaps in the structure.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Container, insbesondere als Arbeitsraum, mit veränderbarem Volumen, umfassend einen Basiscontainer (1) mit Bodenwand ((2) und Dachwand (3), sowie, mindestens ein aus dem Basiscontainer (1) ausfahrbares Erweiterungselement (10;20), welches eine Bodenwand (15;25), eine zum Basiscontainer (1) offene Seite sowie eine der offenen Seite gegenüberliegende Frontwand (16;26) aufweist, und eine Vorrichtung (55), mit der ein Erweiterungselement (10;20) derart abgesenkt werden kann, dass nach dem Ausfahren des Erweiterungselements (10;20) die Bodenwand (15;25;2) von Erweiterungselement (10;20) und Basiscontainer (1) auf gleicher Höhe liegen, und mit der ein Erweiterungselement (10;20) derart anhebbar ist, das das Erweiterungselement (10;20) nach dem Absenken wieder in den Basiscontainer (1) einfahrbar ist, der Basiscontainer (1) mindestens eine klappbare Seitenwand (4,5) aufweist, und dass, das oder die Erweiterungselemente (10;20) nach oben offen sind, und im ausgefahrenen Zustand die Dachwand eines Erweiterungselements (10;20) von einer aufgeklappten Seitenwand (4,5) des Basiscontainers (1) gebildet wird. <IMAGE>
