Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1279890A1] The signal light (1) has two compartments for stopping and direction change. Each compartment contains a lamp (5,5a) with an appropriate red or orange color bonnet (11,11a), a reflector (4,4a), an inner screen (6,6a) and an outer glass (7). The outer glass is colorless and has bars (8) with embedded colorless balls. The inner screen is profiled to direct light to the spaces between bars.
