Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0186154A1] A method of forming a fluid tight seal between a first fluid pathway (22) and a second fluid pathway (12) comprising the steps of: defining a volume (18) between an outer surface of the first fluid pathway (14) and an inner surface of the second fluid pathway (12); maintaining said surfaces in a given orientation and distance with respect, one to another, so as to achieve a desired capillaric property therebetween; delivering a quantity of sealant (16) to a junction region of said surfaces; causing or permitting the sealant (16) to flow into said volume (18), so as to achieve capillary balance whereby only substantially sufficient sealant (16) is delivered to fill the volume (18); and causing or permitting the sealant (16) to cure or set.
