[origin: DE10022082C1] The measuring transducer has at least one inductive source (6) providing an AC magnetic field and a sensor device (1) with at least one inductive sensor for detecting the magnetic field variations, with an electronic circuit (3) providing an AC supply voltage for the inductive source and evaluating the output signals from the inductive sensor. The sensor device (1) has a closed conductor loop (10), for induction of a voltage in the inductive sensor with a voltage characteristic dependent on the relative position of the inductive source (6), with resistors (11) connected along the conductor loop and coupled together in groups (12-15) at the other end, for providing voltages indicating the position of the source.
