Abstract (en)
Use of a thixo pressure die casting process in the production of parts having a graded alloying composition is new. At least two particulate metallic materials of different composition are converted into the thixotropic state in a screw extruder (E) by heating to a temperature between the solidus and liquidus temperature and shearing; and ejecting from a storage zone (11) via a nozzle (9). An Independent claim is also included for a device for producing the parts. Preferred Features: The metallic materials are made from at least two alloys or at least one alloy and a pure metal or at least two pure metals.

Verwendung des Thixospritzgiebßverfahrens, bei dem wenigstens zwei teilchenförmige metallische Materialien (A,B) unterschiedlicher Zusammensetzung in einem Schneckenextruder (E,E1,E2) durch Erwärmung auf eine Temperatur zwischen der Solidustemperatur und der Liquidustemperatur und Scherung in den thixotropen Zustand übergeführt und aus einer Speicherzone (11,26,27) über eine Düse (9,25) ausgestoßen werden, zur Herstellung von Teilen mit gradierter Legierungszusammensetzung. <IMAGE>
