Abstract (en)
The profile, starting from a welded round tube, is heated to a molding temperature, shaped while hot in several stages to the desired hollow profile geometry and then cooled on the understanding that the hollow profile when viewed in cross section is constructed as a polygon with more than four corners. The hollow profile may be an octagon, with the length (3) of the profile lying in the vertical (9) greater than those (4) in the horizontal (2). The ratio of the vertical length to the horizontal length is at least 1.1 and may be 1.5. An Independent claim is included for a boom with hollow profiles fitting inside each other and movable in relation to one another.

Die Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung eines langgestreckten warmgefertigten Hohlprofiles für einen teleskopierbaren Ausleger einer Hubeinrichtung, wobei in einer Schweißstrecke ausgehend von einem geschweißten Rundrohr dieses auf Umformtemperatur erwärmt und in mehreren Stufen auf die gewünschte Hohlprofil-Geometrie warm umgeformt und anschließend abgekühlt wird mit der Maßgabe, dass das Hohlprofil im Querschnitt gesehen als Mehrfach-Eck mit mehr als vier Ecken ausgebildet ist. <IMAGE>
