Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1281795A2] The sliver drawing unit, especially for a ring spinner, has a freewheel (20) between the lower roller of the center pair of rollers and the lower roller (4.2) of the final pair of rollers. The freewheel blocks an advance movement of the center lower roller against the final lower roller. A rotary connection between the center and final lower rollers, and the components (32,34,36) of the freewheel, is in a positive fit through a cogwheel (24) or a toothed belt.
