[origin: EP1281848A2] The throttle plate mechanism (10) has a housing (12) provided by a housing body (14) and a cooperating cover (17), having a throttle opening (20) containing a throttle plate (26) attached to a throttle shaft (22), driven by a setting drive (32) under control of an electronic stage (56) contained within the housing cover, in response to given parameters. The position of the throttle shaft is detected via a Hall sensor (72) cooperating with a Hall magnet (76) attached to the setting drive shaft (28).
