Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1281870A2] The split-sleeve motor (1) has a motor housing (4) and a split-sleeve (5), dividing a wet space (6) for the pumped medium containing the rotor (8) from the dry stator space (7). The wet space is sealed on the opposite side to the pump via a cover (11) formed integral with the motor housing, with a cover element (14) providing a liquid-tight seal for the part of the cover extending across the wet space.
