The connection method has a cylindrical carrier ring (4) of an electrically-conductive material fitted to the rod-shaped heating element (1) via a magnetic forming technique, before attaching the tubular carrier element (3) to the carrier ring. Verfahren zur Verbindung eines stabförmigen Heizelements mit einem rohrförmigen Trägerelement, bei dem man auf dem stabförmigen Heizelement (1) einen zylinderförmigen Trägerring (2) bzw. (4) mittels Magnetumformtechnik aufbringt, und wobei man das rohrförmige Trägerelement (3) auf dem Trägerring (2) aufliegend fixiert sowie Glühkerzen, die durch dieses Herstellverfahren gekennzeichnet sind. <IMAGE>
