Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1281924A1] The internal safety catch system for a pistol comprises a lever (34) connected to the trigger which presses against a sloping surface (28) on the base of a locking disk (20) when the pistol is fired. This causes it to rotate so that the firing pin (10) can pass through a groove in it, which locks the pin. A second depression of the trigger frees the pin.
