Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1281997A2] The scanning microscope has an objective lens (57) that is arranged in both illumination beam path and detection beam path. An interchangeable module having an acoustooptical component such as acoustooptical tunable filter or acoustooptical deflector is arranged in the illumination and detection beam paths, to separate the paths at a fixed angular relationship with respect to each other. An Independent claim is also included for optical element.
