Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0187683A1] The invention relates to a cable pull system of vehicles (1, 11, 16, 23) with a device for coupling and decoupling the vehicles to/from a continuously moved traction cable (36), whereby the vehicles can be displaced along a distance, especially along rails (34, 35), in station areas, in which the vehicles are decoupled from the traction cable. Deceleration or acceleration means are provided for decelerating and accelerating the vehicle. According to the invention, each vehicle, in the area of at least one of its parts, is provided with at least one armature (2, 7, 12, 17, 24, 30, 31, 32, 37, 41), and the deceleration distance and, preferably the acceleration distance, are provided with at least one electromagnetic inductor (3, 5, 8, 10, 13, 15, 19, 21, 33, 34, 35, 38, 42), which interacts with the armature of the vehicle along the decoupling distance of the vehicle from the traction cable.
