Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1283189A1] Brake capturing device for transport devices, especially lift cars, comprises a support element (1) for fixing to the transport device, and at least one brake block (5) acting on a rail (4) arranged parallel to the transport path. The brake block is fixed on a base plate (3) which moves at least approximately perpendicularly to the transport path relative to the support element. At least one feed lever (9, 10) tilts about an axis (20) positioned in the base plate opposite the brake block and is moved from a release position into a braking position in which the rail is clamped between the free end of the feed lever and the brake block. Preferred Features: The brake block is moved against the force of spring devices (7) at least approximately perpendicularly to the transport direction relative to the base plate.
