Snow cannon (1) comprises at least one nozzle (11) provided on a column or lance (3) and forming at least one nozzle outlet to which compressed air and water are fed to produce snow. An additional blower (14) for producing an additional air flow is provided in the region of the nozzle outlet in the nozzle outlet direction. Preferred Features: An outlet opening (15) for the additional air flow is provided in the region of the nozzle or a nozzle body surrounding the nozzle. The outlet opening is set back from the nozzle relative to the outlet direction of the nozzle.
