[origin: WO0187256A1] The invention relates to an aqueous concentrate which contains an extract of edelweiss, in particular of the type Leontopodium alpinum Cass. (Asteraceae) and/or of the type Leontopodium haplophylloides and to cosmetically and/or dermatologically active compositions produced therefrom. Said concentrate is preferably a slightly opaque liquid having a pH value of approximately 5.0 to 6.0, a specific gravity (d20/20) ranging between 1.175 and 1.180 g/cm<3> and a refractive index (n<25>) ranging between 1.420 and 1.430.
