[origin: WO0189961A1] The invention relates to a box packaging for a group of individual cigarette packages (10), which are arranged in two rows and enclosed by a thin paperboard box blank (11). The box blank (11) is designed and folded in such a manner that a top side (12) is open and allows the cigarette packages (10) positioned therein to be viewed. The packaging unit is surrounded by an outer wrapping (22) made of a transparent or see-through film with a tear-open strip (23).
