[origin: WO0186090A1] According to the invention, by producing wall ties for use in the building of double walls from a wire (2) with a rough (5, 6) surface, the cohesion with the mortar will be considerably increased for the reason that the whole of the built-in part of the tie constitutes an anchor. The roughness (5) is preferably in the form of projections (6) that extend from the core (2) of the wire, said projections being evenly distributed along the whole surface of the wire. The projections (6) can be placed in several rows which extend in the longitudinal direction of the wire, and these projections can be arranged in an angular manner for achieving the maximum holding power.
