Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0186137A1] The invention relates a fuel injection device for an internal combustion engine comprising a injection valve (14), which projects inside the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine. Said injection valve is connected to a valve space (6.1) in which a control element (6) closes or opens admission boreholes (5, 8) for highly pressurized fuel. The control element (6) can be actuated by means of a hydraulic-mechanical translator (18, 19, 20, 21). The pump component (P), valve component (V) and nozzle component (D) of the fuel injection device (1) are arranged in a vertical configuration, with regard to the flow of fuel, in a hydraulically successive manner.
