Abstract (en)
Device for connecting profile rails (1, 2) for floor coverings comprises a connecting profile (3) which has a guide groove (5) for receiving in a form-locking manner a fixing web extending in the longitudinal direction of the profile on the under side of the profile rails and can partly slide on the fixing web of adjoining profile rails. The walls (7) of the guide groove of the connecting profile in the adjoining region of the profile rails each form by outer notches (8) a film hinge (9) on opposite-lying groove sides. The base (10) of the guide groove is interrupted in the region of a film hinge defining a pre-determined breaking point. Preferred Features: The fixing web of the profile rails forms an adjustable tilting axis for the profile rails in the guide groove of the connecting profile.

Es wird eine Vorrichtung zum Verbinden stumpf aneinanderstoßender Profilschienen (1, 2) für Bodenbeläge mit einem Verbindungsprofil (3) beschrieben, das eine Führungsnut (5) zur formschlüssigen Aufnahme eines in Profillängsrichtung verlaufenden Befestigungssteges (4) auf der Unterseite der Profilschienen (1, 2) aufweist und je zum Teil auf die Befestigungsstege (4) der aneinanderstoßenden Profilschienen (1, 2) aufschiebbar ist. Um eine Eckverbindung zu ermöglichen, wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Wände (7) der Führungsnut (5) des Verbindungsprofils (1) im Stoßbereich der Profilschienen (1, 2) auf einander gegenüberliegenden Nutseiten durch äußere Einkerbungen (8) je ein Filmscharnier (9) bilden und daß der Boden (10) der Führungsnut (5) im Bereich der je eine Solltrennstelle bestimmenden Filmscharniere (9) unterbrochen ist. <IMAGE>
