Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1284484A1] Before drawing the lead-through head (2) onto the tie bar (5), an axially-sliding tensioner (21) is fitted to a flange (22) of the lead-through head. Flange (22) and tensioner (21) are tightened together, setting-up pretension. The lead-through head (2) is then fitted, passing the end of the tie bar (5) through the insulator (1). Following head flange (22) tightening, the tie bar (21) is released.
