[origin: WO0188049A1] The invention concerns a polyisosilicate adherence primer composition for silicone elastomer to improving adherence of substrates and coatings of various types, substrate wetting, wettability relative to coatings, interactions with the substrate and the coating, cohesion of the primer coat, film-forming properties, ease of preparation and use as well as being economical. Said primer composition is characterised in that it comprises a condensed alkyl polysilicate (A) (units Q<0>, Q<1>, Q<2>, Q<3>, Q<4>) such that: 1.1 < SiOR/Si < 1.5; 0 </= Q<0> = Si(OR)4 </= 2; 0 </= Q<1> = Si(O1/2)(OR)3; 20 </= Q<2> = Si(O1/2)2(OR)2 </= 45; 20 </= Q<3> = Si(O1/2)3(OR) </= 80; 0 </= Q<4> = Si(O1/2)4 </= 15; a metal chelate or alkoxide (B) in an amount such that, the mass ratio B/SiO2 ranges between 3 and 3.5; and a solvent C. The invention also concerns a method for preparing said primer composition. The invention is useful for adherence of RTV 2 polyaddition silicone elastomers on aluminium substrates or in particular epoxide resin.
