Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1026357A2] The frames have a protective lining (5,8) of thin-walled aluminum formed as a profiled shell on their outdoor facing side, with at least two longitudinally aligned engagement strips (20,21). The strips each start from a profiled section (22,35) and are inclined or run across a glazing plane (17) at a distance (a1) from each other in a profiled plane (23,24) running parallel to the glazing plane. Each strip is fitted with a keyed engagement in a guide groove (25) of the wooden frame arm (4,7). A groove-like hollow cavity (29) for holding at least one elastic press-fit insert (30) is formed through a support face (27) of the wooden frame arm running along a guide groove and through a support strip (28) of the profiled shell engaging over this support face.
