Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1286024A2] The camshaft arrangement includes a shaft joint (9) in a separately formed casing (8). The casing includes an integrated shell bearing (4) with a step bearing (3). There are axial step bearing stop surfaces (13, 13') either side of the shell bearing, in recesses (14, 14') in the casing of greater diameter than that of the shell bearing.
