Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1286128A1] The rocket (11) plane of separation (22) lies between ogive (13) and payload chamber (15), where an axially-prolonged reinforcing ring (21) is located, surrounding a gas tube (17) extending from a gas generator (18) to a flexible tube (16) through the payload chamber. The ring (21) is push-fitted into the slightly-conical tapering interior of the ogive, at the front of the payload chamber, where it forms a mounting base for an annular course correction unit (20). This includes a roll sensor (27), satellite receiver and ring antenna (30) surrounding the front of the ogive. The ring also holds the annular thrust unit (23) equipped with rockets (25) discharging radially.
