[origin: WO0191900A1] The invention concerns a method and a device for regenerating used absorbent derived from a desulphurizing zone or from a gas containing sulphur oxides, comprising regeneration simultaneous with filtering of said absorbent, in reducing atmosphere, and which further consists in partial combustion of a regenerating gas upstream of the regeneration process, and in mixing the products of said partial combustion with the used absorbent before the regeneration-filtering step.
