Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0194708A1] The inventive drain fitting comprises a drain valve housing (4), in which a valve body (5) is mounted that can be lifted in order to initiate a flushing. An actuating device (8) comprises at least one button (9), which is arranged on a flushing cistern cover (2) and which, in order to open the drain valve (3), interacts with a control means (10, 11) that is to be arranged underneath the flushing cistern cover (2). The drain valve housing (4) is connected to the actuating device (8) via a connecting means (15) that, in turn, is connected to the drain valve housing (4). The connecting means (15) comprises a connecting component (16), which is mounted on the drain valve housing (4) in manner that enables it to be vertically displaced. The connecting component (16) can be fixed to the drain valve housing (4) at different heights by means of a rotatable connecting element (19). The connecting element (19) is preferably provided with locking means (19c) and can be locked with the drain valve housing (4) by turning. The drain fitting can be easily assembled and can be adapted to different flushing cistern heights.
