[origin: EP1170189A1] Track system for a workshop is provided with a number of rail-supporting track modules (10) and lifting modules (12). The track modules and the lifting modules have a length corresponding to a modular dimension or a multiple of the modular dimension. First connecting elements are embedded in the floor of the workshop at a distance corresponding to the modular dimension. The track modules and the lifting modules have in a distance corresponding to the modular distance second connecting elements interacting with the first connecting elements. Preferred Features: The modular dimension lies between 250 mm and 1 m. The lifting modules are provided with brackets for fixing lifting jacks.
