Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1288145A1] The feeder consists of a conveyor system with belts (1) and pulleys (2), at least one retaining stop for a stack of sheets, and one or more lifters (3) that move alternately between upper and lower positions above and in line with the conveyor belts respectively. Each lifter comprises two arms (4a, 4b) extending parallel to a conveyor belt and pivoted at one end about and axle (5). Each pair of arms is linked to an actuator via a solenoid valve and is connected to a programmable control unit that allows them to be operated individually.
