[origin: EP1288425A2] The insulation (5) between the face profile (4) and wing frame (1.1, 2.1) comprises a profiled strip with a first groove (6) forming a form-fit joint with a connecting web (7) protruding from the face profile, and with a second groove (9) for receiving a connecting web (10) protruding from the fixed wing frame (2.1). A fastener (8) is used to secure the connecting webs to the profiled strip. The window comprises an opening wing (1) and a fixed wing (2), each wing frame preferably having a rectangular shape. A face profile attached to the outside of the fixed wing frame forms a stop for the opening wing, so that when the window is opened, the fixed wing either remains closed or is opened after the opening wing.
