Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1288657A2] Process for determining the reductant (ammonia) concentration in the exhaust gas stream of an internal combustion (I. C.) engine comprises initially correcting the crude measured value obtained by a gas sensor using an offset value to produce an intermediate value; and changing the intermediate value to a corrected ammonia measured value using the NOx concentration of the exhaust gas. Preferred Features: The NOx and ammonia concentrations are tabulated in a two dimensional table.
