[origin: EP1288983A2] Electronic device comprises a circuit board (2) having at least one contact point (3) arranged on the board; a housing shell (10) with at least one channel (9); at least one key (6) with an actuator (7) for activating the contact point and a key flap (8) protruding through the channel; and a switching unit (4) having a switching element arranged between the circuit board and the key. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a keyboard for the electronic device; and (2) a process for positioning a keyboard relative to a switching unit arranged on the device. The key flap and the actuator are able to slide against each other in a surface parallel to the circuit board.
