[origin: WO0185397A1] The invention concerns a single-strike pneumatic hammer comprising a body (1) including a cylinder (2) and a casing (3) enclosing the cylinder and providing therebetween a first air chamber (4), a handle (22) integral with said body (1) containing a second air chamber (23) communicating with the first, at least a piston (6) mounted on an axial shaft (7) whereof the front end (8) forms the striker and capable of moving in the cylinder (2) under the effect of compressed air stored in the air chambers, and means for actuating the hammer controlled by a trigger (25), said hammer being connected to a flexible hose (27) linking it to a compressed air source. The invention is characterised in that the second air chamber (23) forms said hammer rear part.
