Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0189894A1] The invention relates to a wiper blade for cleaning panes, especially for cleaning the panes of a motor vehicle. The inventive wiper blade comprises an elongated, rubber-elastic wiper strip (20) supported by a multi-section carrier bracket system (12) with a main bracket (14). The main bracket is disposed in the center section of the carrier bracket system and is provided with a pin (26) oriented transversely to the longitudinal extension of the wiper blade (10). Said pin flexibly links the bracket with an oscillating wiper arm (28) that is biased towards the pane, resulting in an oscillation axis-proximal and an oscillation axis-distal wiper blade half. The wiper blade is further provided with spring elements that additionally bias the oscillation axis-distal half of the wiper blade, when put against the pane, under a spring force. In order to provide a configuration and an arrangement of the spring elements that is favorable with respect to the masses to be moved, the spring elements are configured as a leg spring (60), whose one leg (64) rests directly or indirectly on the hinge pin (26) and whose other leg (66) is fixed on the oscillation axis-proximal half of the main bracket (14).
