Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0185523A1] In order to prevent the leakage currents flowing into the evaluation device of a switch point diagnostic system from unduly corrupting the monitoring outcome of the monitoring process of a drive when the drive is shut down, the evaluation device is at least partially disconnected from the supply lines of the drive outside of the start-up phase and rotating phase of the drive. This is effected by switches (S*) inserted in the feed lines (Z) leading to the evaluation device (B). Said switches are preferably controlled by the evaluation device which, to this end, detects the supply current flowing in the supply lines (L1, L2, L3) and generates corresponding control signals therefrom for the switches. The evaluation device is decoupled from the supply lines of the drive during the rest phase of the drive in order to prevent the evaluation device from corrupting the monitoring current for the final position monitoring of the switch point drive.
