Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0192716A1] The invention relates to a method and a device for treating edges in a high-pressure fuel accumulator comprising a longitudinally extended tubular casing body (1) which is provided with a through recess (2) in a longitudinal direction, this through recess forming the inner cavity of the high-pressure fuel accumulator and being open on at least one side. At least one through opening (5) in the form of a bore opens into said through recess, said through opening forming a circular edge (7) with the through recess (2). According to the invention, a longitudinally extending actuating part (13) is introduced into the through recess (2). The end of said actuating part that is introduced into the through recess (2) in provided with a surface section (14) that is slanted in relation to the longitudinal axis (6) of the through recess (2). This surface section acts at least indirectly on a pressure part (10) introduced into the through recess (2) in such a way that a surface piece (10a) of the pressure part (10) is pressed against the circular edge (7), and the resulting displacement of material in the area of the edge (7) smoothes out the contour of said edge. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out this method.
