Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1290957A2] An upper comprises of an outer material (1) and an inner lining (2) having a functional layer (2a) comprising a waterproof and water vapor permeable layer. An extension (3) of the upper and an extension (3a) of the lining are joined to an insole (4). The extension of the upper is penetrated by a sole (5). Space between the functional layer and edge of the insole, is filled with material of the sole. An Independent claim is also included for shoe manufacturing method.
