Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1291292A2] The plastic bag has a triangular tab (21) at the base with a diagonal weld (22) separating it from the interior of the bag. The tab is attached to a tear strip (13) which terminates at a transverse weld (11) across the top of the bag. This allows the end of the bag to be opened while the strip remains attached to the bag.
