Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1291308A2] The machine for winding a web (1) of material into a reel on interchangeable, rotating shafts (2) has support rollers (4, 5) which are mounted on arms (6) with a common pivot. This is attached to a carriage (7) which can slide towards and away from the shafts. One support roller remains in contact with the shaft on to which the web is to be wound throughout the winding process.
