Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1291477A2] The door handle assembly (20) has a handgrip (43) and a first arm (61) at one end adjacent to a cylinder lock (18). A hook (66) on the end of the first arm engages a locking catch (51). A hinge (60) on a second arm (22) is connected to a fixed framework (10). The door surface (15) and the lock may be pushed inward with respect to the door handle which may then be tilted about the hinge.
