Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1291584A2] A securing device comprises a connecting element (5) for detachedly connecting to a cooker hood (3). The connecting element collects the filter element during disassembly from the hood to stop the element falling out. A barrier is provided to prevent mounting of the filter element on the hood when the connecting element is detached. Preferred Features: The connecting element has a rigid body hinged with its upper end side in a suction opening (2) of the hood and protrudes downward over the suction opening when the filter element is disassembled.
