[origin: WO0197929A2] The invention relates to an improved ski which offers many possibilities of use in a wide range of environmental conditions. The inventive ski is bent upwards at both end sections in order to form a point at both ends. The ski is also provided with a binding plate which can be fixed in a first direction and a second direction on the ski in such a way that the ski can be used optimally in both directions. The body of the ski is thus asymmetrically embodied so that said inventive ski is optimally suitable for a wide range of conditions.
