Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0183281A1] In a meshed track circuit, there is the risk of rail failures (SB) being masked by the meshing. The invention provides that the meshings are implemented via inductors (Dr1, Dr2), which are of a low impedance for the traction reverse current, but which are of a high enough impedance for the signal current of the relevant track circuit such that a faulty response of the track circuit receiver (E) in the instance of a broken rail (1) is no longer possible via an additional zero conductor (N). An individual adaptation of the filter characteristics of the transducers to the signal frequencies of the track circuits is not necessary. The transducers are of a significant broadband that permits them to considerably attenuate the signal frequencies of all track circuits of a railway system adequately.
